The Lady of The Bend Bed

We just had a few days in our 'other home' which is in the lovely Fraser Canyon.

Here was the 1st bed.....but she liked the finished product better as a table and I do have to say that it looks so lovely in our home.....although really I had my name right on it. Check out those legs!!!! Such an amazing table. And the cow bell on the top is one that was her Dad's from his early years in Zehner Saskatchewan. He would be so proud to see it displayed in our North Bend home which he always enjoyed visiting.

The sun was shining and we supervised a lot of work that was taking place.

I wanted to share our Mum's new project which she worked on in the sunshine.

Pool Dayz....

Ok for some reason my Mum thought it was rather hot yesterday and that we should all have a cool down......Have no idea why she would have thought that. Just because our tongues were falling out of our faces and our fur was shedding faster than you can imagine and the big ball of golden sun was in the air.

She made a fool of herself to get the pool out of the back shed that has been inhabited by raccoons..thank goodness the neighbours did not see her.....there she was with this long stick....makes us stay FAR back and opens the door fast, reaches in as far as she can with this sticky thing and hooks the pool off the side of the wall and drags it out real fast. Snicker snicker...wonder what really would have happened if there was a raccoon in there.

Needless to say the 'coons' have gone Mum, duh, remember that Dad chased them out then sprayed bleach inside/under the shed.

So there she is filling up this pool after a good wash in case it had raccoon germs. We all run and hide. No way does Elliott want anything to do with the swimming aspect of things. Any time she approached us we would scatter. It took her awhile to finally get me to go in...ok she picked me up and put me in. It was shell shock for me at first, after all this is my first year and there are so many experiences.

I did enjoy it though!!! But I sure was not dumb enough to sit down in it when she told me she had a treat if I sat.

Snicker snicker.....today was a rainy morning so all that work was a waste of time and the pool will be drained and put away till the next sunny day.
