A Weekend of Sunshine

Not much has been happening about lately......we are in desperation of some sunshine. We did go to our holiday home last weekend and were able to escape the rain for a bit and enjoy the sunshine. The birds were fluttering about enjoying it as well.
Isabella doesn't enjoy the car rides at all and this proved itself on the way. About 40 minute into our trip she vomitted all over a peacefully sleeping Elliott. He had this total look of disgust on him face when it occured.
But all in all the trip proved warm and inviting :)

The Lady of The Bend Bed

We just had a few days in our 'other home' which is in the lovely Fraser Canyon.

Here was the 1st bed.....but she liked the finished product better as a table and I do have to say that it looks so lovely in our home.....although really I had my name right on it. Check out those legs!!!! Such an amazing table. And the cow bell on the top is one that was her Dad's from his early years in Zehner Saskatchewan. He would be so proud to see it displayed in our North Bend home which he always enjoyed visiting.

The sun was shining and we supervised a lot of work that was taking place.

I wanted to share our Mum's new project which she worked on in the sunshine.

Where does the time go....

Well Mum forgot the password..................finally it has come to her after much key punching! Life has changed alot since we lost out bros Taz. We have a new guy on the block, Stanley~hes is a border collie.Stanley is Cristy's boy but she has moved out and she works alot of shift work so our Mum said he can stay here when she works. We are never ever left for more than 4.5 hours by ourselves, she feels that that is the longest we should be alone. She always comes home to have her lunch with us guys :) There is now some issues that happen. Sometimes him and Elliott don't always get along the best and they have their 'go arounds' and fur is flying. Stan just wants to play and Elliott is fine for a bit but then it happens.............LEAVE ME ALONE NOW!

Mum says as time goes on it will get better....................hope so. But all in all Stanman is a good guy and learning lots. Funny, Border Collies are to be cleaver..............he finally is getting the hang of shaking a paw............finally. Now if the couch chewing would stop......Mum & Dad will get a new couch soon but the chewing has to stop first.

Well fall has come, the leaves are falling and the mud is starting to develope. I have going outside in the rain and put up a real fuss. Sometimes I have to be carried off the patio as I just won't go, I'm no dummy, I can smell and hear the rain...........oh please please don't take me out in it. But if we go for a walk i don't mind it so much.

Well now that the password has been remembered hopefully i'll get to write more sooner.

We are going to a Halloween party this Sunday. So excited and Mum bought a new camera so she can take pictures of us :) Have a good day.

RIP Tazman

We are very sorry to say that our brother Taz is gone from our lives but not from our hearts. May 15, 2010 RIP Taz. Although you were a very old boy, perhaps 16-18 years old you had the face of a young boy. Right to the end you would love to chase a ball even if it was hard for you. You will always be with us where ever we are. We all loved you Taz and will miss you so much.

Weekend Sleepover

Last weekend Mum got a call asking if she could look after Fiona & Maya. She was so excited as what would be better than having 16 pug feet in the house!! Although that does mean 16 pounds of pug hair too as us guys shed so much. But we have many brooms & vacuums in the house to tackle that problem........all was good. There was not a time at all when we had disagreements and we all got along so well. Mum & Dad could not believe it! Maya is my litter mate, full sister! She is Elliott's full sister too and Fiona is her adopted sister. We played and played so much that at nite time we just crashed and did not move all nite at all. We had cheese for treats and just basically had a wonderful time. Dad is the Pug Piper, that is what Mum calls him as everyone would follow him around when he went outside and just be with him. When the girls went home it was exciting too as their parents brought squeaky toys for Elliott and I!!! A red one for him and a nice pink one for me!!! Who could be luckier having your own pug meet up in your backyard and toys at the end :)

OK it worked

Mum has been busy sewing up stuff and hasn't let us on the computer! But in her sewing area we see just crayon rolls and tea pot cozies and NO DOG JACKETS! She better get busy and make us some dogwear for the spring....we will also need camping jackets for the evenings as it gets cold at the lake where we love to camp.

Maybe even this year they will get us on the boat and let us go fishing with them...........we do need, perhaps, new life jackets as we've put on some weight since last year. It seems so long ago since camping season and with spring here it is time to start thinking about it.

Hope everyone is having a great spring and enjoyed Easter! We were away for the weekend at the other house and had a great time supervising Mum & Dad when they were working lol...typical kids eh!

why

why can't we write on our blog.....something is wrong.
We want to write about our adventures. It has been so long.

Pizza people almost took us away!!!

OK Cristy & Gregory ordered pizza the other nite, the lady who delivered it said what cute dogs we were. Cristy said that we're a pain in the As$ sometimes and she was going to give us away....just kidding of course. Then a bit later the same lady came to the door with her husband and he asked which one of us she was giving away.....SCARY STUFF!!!!!! STUPID PEOPLE!!!! Like she would give us away, NOT, MUM WOULD SLAUGHTER HER!!! She is a big jokester and I guess the lady really took her seriously. Thank goodness we are safe and sound!!!! Bet that is the last time Cristy will do that!!!

The Art of Laziness part 2

OMG our Mum is getting lazy at this blog..........so many things have gone on but no time for us to get on here!!! We are in the rainy season again. It starts and never stops....I hate the rain so much! Glad i've got a nice raincoat to wear when it is time to go out. Mum takes me out, I run as fast as I can to under the trees, pee and poop and come in as fast as I can. We've been to our other house a few times and it is snuggly up there. There is nice heat vents on the walls as the house was built in 1920 and Elliott and I have discovered that when the furnace comes on we get a big blast of warm air. Got to love that!!! We've had Halloween and that was somewhat uneventful! They never even took us to the party. I wanted to get dressed up so bad and go but for some reason we just did not go. Oh well there is always next year. Cristy and Gregory put up the Christmas tree last nite......somewhat premature but sure looks nice. I'll talk mum into taking some pictures soon and putting them up. Even my picture with Santa is up from last year. Boy I have grown!! I've almost lived with my family now for 2 years!!!!! Gee I love them and they all love me! I hope Mum will make me a Christmas dress this year. She is busy knitting hats for everyone so i think that is why she has not let us on here for awhile. Talk to you soon.

Wow I can't believe it, I'm 2 years old today!!! Mym let me sleep in today and took me for a little walk this morning, not too far cuz it is raining outside. I HATE the rain, I know that is a pretty harsh word.......but it really is how I feel about it. Wonder what is in store for me today, the little Princess.

Dog Dayz of Summer

OK I must admit I've been a bit lazy on here lately....perhaps it is still the nice days that are erupting in the month of September and I can just laze in the sun? Or is it the art of procrastination? Probably the later of the two. Well our trip to the other house last weekend as you heard before was a work weekend......We did help out where we could, chasing lizards in the house, getting in the way, and eating anything and everything we could find on the floor! Lots of good walks between the raindrops up there but all in all a good time. Oh and the clean mountain air made us so sleepy...........ha even sleepy enough for me to let Elliott sleep on me. This week was somewhat of a 'nothing to exciting week' but hey you must have those sometime:) Well here is to a good week!

ITCHY......

Why am I so friggin itchy? I have my own views on this but the vet will tell me why on Wednesday.....I've even vomitted cuz it makes me crazy. I'm either allergic to Taz's food which I mentioned before that I sneak...guess there is a good reason why I should not eat it! Or....I picked up some kind of bug when we were trapsing around this summer. Well last weekend was alot of fun in North Bend. I got lazy time in the yard, chilled in the house and somehow managed to wrangle some people food out of everyone. The concert was amazing, I even got to go into the beer gardens and did not get IDed. Did not like the smells in there at all. Had to sit on Dad's lap most of the time as Mum was up dancing a storm with Caroline. But everyone that I did visit was very sociable. The guy in front of us was alone and I kept smelling his arm...then he would turn and smile at me...is this the way to pick up guys?? Taz and Elliott had to stay home, one too young for the beer gardens and the other one just not interested. Quite weekend for the 3 of us this weekend...Mum and Dad have lots of plans but not me :(

Got a waddle...........

Nina Maxwell was relaxing in her luxurious claw footed bathtub listening to the drip of the leaky facet that she had been procrastinating on calling the plumber in to repair. She enjoyed the quiet life right now after the scandal had occurred. Just thinking about it now made her heart skip a beat and the butterflies were still flying in her chest. Sinking lower and lower into the scented waters she let it engulf her as she thought back of the life she had led and what had brought her to this point in her life.

WOW WOW WOW..........wrong story line!! That is the other story I'm writing, OK not me, Mum is. Just wanted to say that thank goodness I was out for 2 long walks today with Mum.....I am starting to waddle....The extra snacks, ice cream and lack of walks is started to see the love handles come on. I passed by the mirror in the bedroom this morning and had to do a double take!! Even with my black coat, which of course is slimming I see a bit of extra weight on me now. My knees are going to collapse if I keep indulging in this lazy life. And who the heck wants back fat!!!! Not me!! Walk on, watch the icecream and be thankful for the cooler weather for my walks.

Dog Day Afternoon

Well the weather is a bit warm today, but not to bad at all. Taz is chillaxing in the backyard, I'm on the arm of the couch (well duh not right now as i'm pawing at the keyboard) and Elliott is in the exercise pen sleeping in the air conditioned kitchen. Not much new, Mum's day off today so I'm almost certain we will go for a nice walk when it cools down tonite. Dad will be home from work in a few hours so snuggle time. I hear we are going away again this weekend and there is a concert in Boston Bar so I'll get to go with my pawrents, can't wait. I love watching all the people there and last time there was a concert the guy that was doing Rod Stewart sang to me............OMG the spot light was on me, everyone turned to look and he was singing Hot Legs to me....I was lapping it all up. Mum got a crazy idea that she is going to make sleeping bags for me and Elliott for camping season next year. I can't wait!!! Guess I will have something pink and Elliott will be camouflage or something with fish on it........I guess it is a guy thing. And I've got a secret................................someone we know is getting a puppy in September, a Golden Retriever. Ha guess they won't be using the little poop bags like us..................can we say industrial size garbage bags? Can't wait to meet her............smiles :) Don't think though that she will make pretty clothes for the puppy our friends are getting cuz it would just look silly cuz she only makes small clothes. She makes all my clothes!!!! Gotta love my Mum xoxox

Play them for FOOLS

Well I haven't been eating much since I got home. So they think I'm not anyways.....not my food but everyone elses food. Now that I can go out in the backyard again and play with Taz I take every oportunity when no one is looking to scarf down his food. I sit there all pretty as I am and as soon as my parents back is turned I creap in to the food dish and take a mouthfull. Dad and Mum have even tried to hand feed me my food, which I absolutely love but I keep turning them down and this is the reason why. I'm pretty smart at all this! When I want water when we are traveling I grab the water bottle that they drink from and I drink from it too so I have them outsmarted in alot of ways. It sure is nice to be home though after being away for a couple weeks. Back into a routine. I know both my parents are going to be tired tonite as they both go back to work today.................oh the goodlife that Taz, myself and Elliott have! It's a dogs life.

The 2nd Week

Finally out of Mosquitoville!!! I had to bundle all up and look like ET sitting in the chair just to keep the bugs off me! And smell like I came out of a dryer as Mum kept all three of us tied up with Downy sheets all over us just to try to keep those dam bugs off us. The road coming out of Ross Lake was really rough and from what I've heard it was similar to a roller coaster ride. But leaving was a good thing cuz those bugs were bad bad bad. I got bit in the butt end and everyone thought I got a hemorrhoid from screaming when I could not see Mum but was just a bite. So our driving to the next location, Chain Lake begins. We had to stop in Manning Park for a pee break and that was welcomed by all three of us. It took me forever though cuz there was so much to explore with the Goffer Holes. After we got back in the truck Elliott started wining ab out snacks!! Can you believe that guy...calls me the cry baby and look who is talking. Dad had to pull over and get us all some food. He is such a glutton that my parents had to stop earlier as he ate his two weeks allotment of dog food in one week. You should see the size of his paws!!! He will probably be bigger than me. And we could not get his kind of dog food in Hope so they had to switch him....good thing that we had 150 baggies packed with us as a change of dog food in a puppy takes awhile for the stomach to get use to it. His wait seems to be a bit of a problem....on the way to Chain Lake he moved around too much and toppled over his kennel and he was ass over tea kettle in the back seat narrowly missing Taz. Chain Lake turned out to be another experience~HAIR RAISING. It was windy there, good thing that I don't have a layered cut like Mum as I don't generally use any styling products and would of been a real mess. Dad went fishing in his Pontoon boat and was blown all over. Good thing he had a little motor on it to come back to us. I wish I had a snuggy like Cristy & Gregory do cuz I would have been so snuggy...although Dad gave me his coat and I spent the days under that in the wind. I have figured out that picnic tables and fire pits are a great place for finding food. And tell me what is wrong with eating a half a rotten wiener???? Just when I get it in the mouth there is Mum with her fingers down my throat digging it out. The weather at Chain Lake wasn't the best so it was off to Alleyn Lake. Oh it was so beautiful there. I loved playing on the beach but when it was time to get a drink I walked to the water.....THE TERROR SET IN, MY EYES POPPED OUT, MY HEART WAS BEATING OUT OF MY CHEST....ADAVAN PLEASE!!!! There was quicksand.....I suck up to my chest in mud................I FREAKED.......finally I got a clear head and figured out that I was going to be ok and got myself out of it. I did a case of mistaken identity too when we were there.........the man was walking out of the water, neoprene on, fish cat boat like Dads and he was walking away past our campsite..........ok I started to scream again...Dad come back, where are you going...please I won't walk in the mud again....but he kept going. Mum had to call to Dad in the water to call me so that I would know it wasn't him. Oh what a relief it was that he wasn't walking out on us! Then after a good sleep with the Breath Right Nasal Strips passed around by Taz we were off to North Bend. Oh I liked it there much better this time, think I am getting comfortable now there and know that it is a safe place. Had a great two nights there and Travis my big big brother from Armstrong came and spent the night there with us too. It was so nice to see him. Now I am at home and we are all tired but glad to be home. Home Sweet Home. Tomorrow I hear that we are having a family dinner for Travis as he is here again...what a surprise it was!!
